Tons of volunteers attend each day in the camp of families Kara tepe, Grecia the basic needs of thousands of refugees who arrive daily in adverse conditions fleeing their country. In this way they continue with the preparation and distribution of thousands of complete menus that are sent to the refugees every day.

Among the new projects the NGO is starting to deploy on the island is the new refugee camp in Kara tepe, where Remar volunteers are working with the Greek authorities. The new camp, with a capacity for 1,500 people, currently houses 800. It has a large industrial kitchen, acquired by Remar, from which the food needs of the families housed there are daily catered for.

In addition to Karatepe, the NGO Remar continues to address the needs of refugees in other enclaves, such as Malasaka or Presevo. Among the refugees in the different camps, there is a large number of children. In addition to meeting its basic needs, the NGO Remar is also concerned with its cognitive-emotional development and has therefore launched the "Child Friendly Space" project in both Malasaka and Presevo.

In both cases they are spaces (100 m2 in the case of Malasaka) intended for children to play and have fun entertaining with different activities, as a kindergarten or recreation. Through the different games, they stimulate their learning process and help them to forget their situation, getting them smiles in extreme conditions.

During the summer dozens of volunteers have wanted to dedicate their time to entertain and help these children, from children's entertainers to dentists, such as Bea Balasch Cusi who carried out an educational campaign on oral hygiene for the little ones.
