On the 1 of October, Children’s day is celebrated in Guatemala, dedicated to understanding childhood, there well-being, development, growth and above all there rights as children to have a dignified, stable and a life free of illness. Remar in Guatemala has held a very special day at the school El Olivo, a school from the foundation it is located in San José Villa Nueva, where teachers and staff organise various activities in which children can participate in competitions, games, where they can wear costumes, eat snacks and have a lot of fun, Chahiny Gomez informed us, director and founder of the school El Olivo 1 and El Olivo 2 College that gives education to more than 500 children and young people in the city of Guatemala.

The NGO Remar in Guatemala began its work 1992 working in favour of children, opening a care home for street children, children who have been abandoned, abused, orphans, children who came as kids, who today are professional adults and good people for the Guatemalan society.
